This is a lithographic reproduction of Hess' original oil on canvas painting.

In "Championship Sack", artist Douglas C. Hess captures the final blow to Heisman Trophy winning quarterback, Jason White, clinching the game and the 2003 National Championship with a 21-14 victory over Oklahoma.

The print features All-American Chad Lavalais and LSU's defensive domination over Oklahoma, holding OU's offense to 152 yards while sacking quarterback Jason White five times. The Remarques shown in the bottom margin of the print feature Head Coach Nick Saban, the National Championship Trophy and quarterback Matt Mauck in the SEC Championship victory over Georgia. Numbers on the players jerseys along the sideline will represent the score of the game, 21-14, LSU's final ranking, 1. It will also feature a hidden image of a tiger and the number 58 representing the 1958 National Championship. Each print includes a certificate of authenticity and gold embossed seal.
